Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Streakist ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use the app. We have designed Streakist to collect as little as possible. In short: your habit data lives on your device, and we do not run accounts or servers that store it.
1. Data you create
Your habits, completions, streaks, companion, settings, and progress are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This information is not transmitted to us and is not associated with any account. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is permanently removed from your device.
2. Information we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account or provide your name or email.
- We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, or files.
- We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
3. Advertising
Streakist is free and is supported in part by advertising provided through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google’s advertising SDK may collect and process certain information automatically, such as a mobile advertising identifier, device and app information, and general usage signals. This processing is governed by Google’s policies.
You can learn more and manage your choices here:
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
- About AdMob and the advertising ID
On Android, you can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
4. Notifications
If you turn on a reminder for a habit, the app schedules a local notification on your device. These reminders are generated on-device and are not sent through our servers. You can disable them per habit in the app, or for the whole app in your device’s notification settings.
5. Permissions
The app may request the following, only to provide its features:
- Notifications — to deliver the habit reminders you enable.
- Network access — used by the advertising SDK to load ads.
6. Children
Streakist is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Data security
Because your habit data stays on your device, its security largely depends on your device’s own protections, such as your screen lock and operating-system security. We recommend keeping your device updated and protected.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
9. Contact
